Yesterday was World Pillow Fight Day! At 17:00, hundreds of people grabbed their pillows and headed to Dam Square in the center of Amsterdam to fight for their right to have fun.

Last night I went to go see the Watchmen. All I can think about today is Dr. Manhattan and his huge blue weiner.

Amsterdam under attack… well almost. Today, I flashed back to thoughts of 9/11. The police foiled a terrorist attack against Ikea and Media Mart. Bastards! How dare someone attack the only two decent shops in this city. Do you know how hard it is to find places to buy cheap disposable crap at in this city.
All joking aside, this is really f’ing crazy. They shut down part of the city, the metro was being monitored, and I was completely unaware of what was happpening. This is what happens when you work from home: ignorance, but at least if shit does go down you are at home.

Tonight when I got home, there was a handwritten note from my lodger politely asking me if he could use the drying rack. He had washed clothes earlier that day, but I still had mine from last week hanging on the rack. Not a problem at all.
What I did have a problem with is where he left the note: right on top of my rolling gear. Knowing that would be the first place I would go to when I got home.
